Kalulushi Municipal Council(KMC) has started distributing employee’sz pay slips electronically.
KMC Public Relations Manager Dorothy Sampa said this is in bid to save some money.
Ms Sampa said the Council was spending close to K18,000.00 per annum to input and distribute employee’s slips.
She said with this new development the money saved will be channelled to service provision.
She said the Council is also working on developing a website where the public will be able to inspect the Valuation Roll, check for their Owner’s Rate bills and download relevant business forms for quick service delivery.
“Our proposed Domain Name for the website is kalulushicouncil.gov.zm which the Ministry of Local Govt is yet to give a go ahead to. Currently we are using the following link just to review the progress of our website “www.indeni.com.zm/kalulu,” she said.
