Zambia’s High Commissioner to South Africa Emmanuel Mwamba took time to visit Minister of Transport and Communication Brian Mushimba who is admitted to Avrwyp Medical Centre in Johannesburg.
In a statement issued by Zambian High Commission in Pretoria, Mwamba said Mr Mushimba was fairing well.
And Mr Mushimba said he is feeling much better.
In a phone conversation with Smart Eagles, Mr Mushimba disclosed that he is fully functional; able to walk and eat and his arm will completely heal within two weeks.
” I am feeling much better. Thank you for your prayers. I’m functional; I’m walking and eating. I just have to allow the arm to heal in two to three weeks to be completely whole,” he said.
Meanwhile, Mr Mwamba also took time to visit Peoples Party President, Mike Mulongoti who is also admitted to the same facility.
Mr Mwamba also announced that the process to repatriate the body of former Vice President, Lupando Mwape, was almost complete and the remains could be brought by Thursday.
He said once all processes were finalized the details will be made known.
