Zulu joins Tanzania’s Azam

Zambian international Charles Zulu has become the latest player to trek to Tanzania after penning a two-year deal at Azam.

The diminutive Zulu joins Cletus Chama and Larry Bwalya,who are already grabbing headlines in East Africa with their performances at Dar es Salaam giants Simba.

Zulu has joined the George Lwandamina coached Azam from South African Premier Soccer League side Cape Town City.

Azam confirmed Zulu’s capture on their Facebook page yesterday upon reaching an agreement with Cape Town City.

“We are happy to inform you that we have succeeded in capturing the signature of Zambian international striker Zulu for two years contract. We have signed him after reaching an agreement with Capetown City,” read the brief statement on their page.
