Zambia Information and Communications Technology Authority (ZICTA) has fined the three Mobile Network Operators, Airtel, MTN, and Zamtel respectively for poor quality of services.

ZICTA Manager Corporate Communications Ngabo Nakonde said this was due to failure to adhere to the quality of service guidelines issued by ZICTA in June.

Ms Nakonde said ZICTA has warned that Mobile Networks that continued to breach the quality of service guidelines will result in further enforcement actions.

She said ZICTA will continue to conduct quality of service monitoring inspections in various parts of the country.

Ms Nakonde has encouraged consumers to continue reporting incidents of poor quality of service experienced, specifying the location.

And also HTTP successful internet log-ins in Chingola, Chipata and Kitwe.

Other are MTN who was fined K225.000.00 for failing to meet HTTP internet log-in Chipata, Ndola and Chisamba,” she said.
