Zesco wallop Kansanshi to go Second

By Maimbo Mweemba
Defending Champions, Zesco United returned to winning ways as they thrashed Kansanshi Dynamos 4-0 on Wednesday in a rescheduled week one clash played at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.

The Ndola giants came into the match off a disappointing 1-0 loss away to Nkana over the weekend.

It was a beautiful response from Mumamba’s men who recorded an emphatic 4-0 win with goals from Jesse Jackson Were, Solomon Sakala, Thabani Kamusoko, and Dickson Chapa.

The win takes the nine-time Champions up to a second-place with 12 points eight adrift of log leaders Green Buffaloes who they host on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Kansanshi Dynamos who have recorded just one win from their last five games remains in 11th place with 7 points.
