Zesco United says they are not worried with the 14-point gap between them and Super Division leaders Green Buffaloes but will work hard to cushion the void.
Champions Zesco last Sunday missed a huge opportunity to reduce the gap after drawing 1-1 with Forest Rangers.
Coach Mumamba Numba said Buffaloes are within reach and his charges will soon catch up with them.
The Ndola giants are eighth on the league table with 14 points while Buffaloes have 28 points.
“We are not worried, we know our strength, all we need is just to continue
working hard, they are within reach .All we need us to continue picking points and we will definitely catch up with them, “he said.
Numba said the team has been missing scoring opportunities since the season started but will they continue polishing up their striking department.
Zesco this weekend have a date with Buildcon while unbeaten Buffaloes are away to resurgent Green Eagles in Choma.
