Zesco United striker Pedro Miguel joins Rangers on season-long loan

Nchanga Rangers Football Club announces that Zesco United Football Club striker Pedro Miguel has joined the Club on a season-long loan for the FAZ 2022/2023 Super League Season after the two Clubs reached a mutual understanding.

The two Clubs have agreed that Pedro should move to the Chingola-based newly promoted Super Division side to enable him to continue developing and sharpening his football skills.

After reaching the loan agreement, Nchanga Rangers F.C. Vice President Shapi Shachinda said the mutual trade-off was a sign of a respectful footballing relationship.

“This mutual agreement with Zesco United F.C. opens a new page in our relations, which Nchanga Rangers F.C. hope can only grow stronger as we both focus on promoting the game of football with our friendly competitor,” he said.

Mr Shachinda said the club has been monitoring Pedro on the pitch for some time and expressed confidence that the player would hit the ground running at Nchanga stadium and assist the Club to compete in the forthcoming season.

“Pedro is a player Brave Rangers has tracked for the last few years and we understand his qualities, which we believe will assist in taking our team to another level. We can only thank Zesco United for their high-mindedness and wish the player a good season with us,” Mr Shachinda said.
