The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) wishes to inform the public that tickets for the 2019 Cameroon Africa Cup of Nations qualifier match between Zambia and Guinea Bissau are now available in all Shoprite outlets countrywide through Compticket.
FAZ wishes to urge the public to take advantage of this window and buy tickets for this crucial and must win encounter to be played at National Heroes stadium on October 10, 2018.
We further wish to warn any unauthorized traders who are fond of buying tickets in bulk and later selling them at exorbitant prices of dire consequences.
“We are aware that there are unscrupulous traders who are in the business of making and selling counterfeit tickets to unsuspecting soccer fans. Consequently, FAZ has introduced an electronic system that will allow us to scan all tickets that will be sold at the match venue on entry. FAZ has also engaged the law enforcement agencies to ensure that all those found wanting are arrested.”
The Association wishes to also advise the public to show exemplary behavior during this significant encounter to avoid any form of disturbance that could lead to a FIFA fine or ban.
“This game will be closely monitored by FIFA and CAF. Thus, we are appealing to our fans to desist from engaging in any form of behavior that would disrupt the game. These actions have previously costed the Association a lot money through FIFA and CAF fines.”
