Copperbelt Province Minister Elisha Matambo says the removal of the ministry of guidance and religious affairs does not mean Christian affairs of the country have been neglected or forgotten.
Mr Matambo said this is because Government is committed to ensuring that Zambia remains a Christian nation.
Mr. Matambo also assured all Christians in the province that the ministry is still operational under the office of the vice president.
“Government remains committed to ensuring that Zambia remains a Christian nation that is why President Hichilema still keeping up in spiritual matters, and Government remains committed to working with the church for the betterment of the present and future generations of the great nation,’’ he said.
He was speaking during that installation ceremony of pastor Best Longwe at Ndola Central District Seventh Day Adventist Church.
And pastor Longwe said he will embark on a project that will see the church financially sustainable.
