Shepolopolo on Saturday night forced a 1-1 away draw against 2022 Women’s Africa Cup hosts Morocco in friendly match played in Rabat.
Zambia and Morocco are both preparing for the Africa Cup that will start on July 2 in North Africa.
Morocco scored first in the 62nd minute when Shepolopolo midfielder Misozi Zulu turned the ball into her own net.
But Misozi redeemed herself when she created Grace Chanda’s equaliser in the 77th minute.
Head of Mission at the Zambian embassy in Morocco Eliphas Chinyonga has saluted Shepolopolo’s performance.
Shepolopolo will start their Group B Africa Cup campaign on July 3 against Cameroon and later play Togo on June 9.
