Chililabombwe PF Constituency Youth Chairperson Samson Chisambo says youths should be disciplined and desist from any form of violence.
Mr Chisambo said a violent youth is irresponsible and undisciplined who doesn’t want to see development in his community.
He said violence divides nations and separate people thereby destroying developmental projects and many things.
Speaking in an interview with The Independent Observer, Mr Chisambo said youths should be in forefront in denouncing violence especially during elections and promote unity of purpose.
He said that youths are known to be tools of violence especially during campaigns but that should not be the case.
He said youths should inspire peace to earn the people’s confidence by being promoters of peace.
Mr Chisambo also said that youths can only be accorded leadership position when their behaviour is violent free.
“As PF youths in Chililabombwe we pledge to remain disciplined and violent free and keep our party intact as it is in all the wards of the district and we are still mobilizing more youths to come on the boat and we keep embracing everyone as the President Edgar Lungu does not condone violence. Those who left the party are welcome to witness more development,” he said.
He has also warned all youths in the constituency that may want to misbehave to remain disciplined as there is nothing to be desired in a violent youth.
