Ndola Mayoral aspiring candidate Gilbert Musonda says youths have a role to play in the upcoming general elections.
Mr Musonda said the youths are a majority of the population and their ability to cast a ballot freely is key to having their voices heard.
He said exercising control on continuity of developmental agenda is the youth’s responsibility to drive.
Mr Musonda said the transformation attained in all sectors and achievement in the country is visible for all to see hence it deserves applaud.
“we the youths are supposed to be party of the governance system by participating in the affairs of this nation and thinking of ways in which the National can improve rather than complaining,” he said.
He has advised those who did not manage to register as voters to take advantage of the extension period to be announced by the Electoral Commission of Zambia.
