The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Eastern Province says its leader Chishimba Kambwili will tour the province in the next coming two weeks with or without a police permit.
And the NDC has expressed disappointment with ruling PF cadres on their continuous attacks on innocent citizens especially when they air their views in the media on the national matters.
Speaking at a media briefing in Chipata yesterday, NDC Provincial Chairperson Samuel Phiri noted with sadness that the police seem to be reluctant in giving them a permit which he says is a flimsy excuses.
Mr Phiri has charged that the party will not accept its leader to be blocked from the interacting with people in the region.
He has vowed that the NDC stand ready to speak for the voiceless so that they are liberated from their sufferings.
