The Witch Doctor suspected to be behind a spate of hacking in Chingola’s Lulamba Loop area has been arrested together with three others.
This was after members of the community went amok in effecting citizen’s arrest of anyone they suspected to be behind the gruesome hacking.
The known Witch Doctor of Chigayo area was allegedly sending hackers to go and collect blood for his rituals.

Sadly, the gruesome hacking of five members of the family on December 15, 2019, evoked emotions in the community and people rose up and went on to arrest and torture those they apprehended to reveal the people behind the hacking.
Earlier on December 17, 2019, the mob apprehended one suspect with machetes and later handed him over to Lulamba police.
They tortured the same suspect to reveal the name list and succumbed where he gave them the address of another suspect in Chingola’s The Close area where they went and battered him.
Him too after some good beatings revealed that the Witch Doctor was the one demanding for blood for his rituals.
Then yesterday, the police went to the Witch Doctor’s house where they found two axes and machetes suspected to have been the tools used in the hacking then they arrested the Witch Doctor.
Copperbelt Police Chief, Charity Katanga, has confirmed the arrested of the Witch Doctor to The Independent Observer together with three others.
Ms Katanga said Jonathan Chisanga of Lulamba Loop area in Chingola is admitted to a hidden health centre after a mob effected a citizen arrest on him together with others on suspicion that him together with the other two suspects who are in police detention were responsible for the hacking of five family members.
