Some Bus Operators operating from Chingola to Kitwe are requesting for exemption at Wilson Mofya Chakulya Toll Planza when they passing through the toll gate five times.

The Bus Operators said that at other Toll Planza like Michael Chilufya in Ndola and Enock Kavindele in Solwezi give exemptions after passing through five times.

Mathews Ngosa one of the Driver explained that the system for Solwezi and Ndola toll gates automatically give an exemption when you pass through five times making ten trips in a month.

Mr Ngosa said sixth trip buses pay a K5 instead of a K40.

He said that at Wilson Chakulya the Bus Operators are told to make a card and it is not necessary because the card is only valid for a month.

The Bus Drivers have also complained of been delayed as most of the time the network is slow.

Teddy Kapinga another Driver who operates from Chingola to Kitwe said should look into the matter seriously.

Brian Chola also an operator on the same route said that their system sometime fail to pick up the vehicle number and the operator has to ask the driver which also delays passengers.
