Nkana Coach Beston Chambeshi says the Kitwe side will put up a fight in tomorrow’s Super Division rescheduled for Week 25 against Red Arrows to enhance their changes of carrying the day.
Arrows will host Nkana at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka.
Relegation threatened Nkana is in dare need of maximum points in order to move up the table.
Nkana are on 16th position with 31 points and will brighten their chances should they conquer in the Capital City on African Freedom Day.
Chambeshi said he will try to psyche and motivate his players to ensure they get maximum points in Lusaka.
“We are playing away from home and I will try to psyche the players, to motivate them and playing away…you know we have played two games away from home,” he said.
The Nkana legend said his charges learnt some lessons after beating both Zesco United and Power Dynamos away this month.
“We have played two games away Zesco United and Power Dynamos so I think we have learnt one or two things from away games so all what we need to do is encourage the boys and build their mental strengthen. We will go and work out against Red Arrows and will put up a fight,” Chambeshi said.
Nkana beat Power 2-0 at Arthur Davies Stadium before edging Zesco 1-0 at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium to end their 10 match-winning run.
Chambeshi declared on Saturday after Nkana beat Prison Leopards 1-0 at Nkana Stadium that his team is targeting winning all their remaining matches to ensure safety.
“It is attainable, if Zesco can win 10 games why not Nkana so we are looking at that and I have seen the character the boys are showing. We are aiming to win all the remaining games, that is our aim,” he said.
After squaring off with Arrows, Nkana will now remain with matches against Zanaco, Buildcon, Young Green Eagles and Napsa Stars.
Meanwhile, Zanaco will be aiming to bounce back from last Saturday’s shock 2-1 defeat suffered at the hands of already relegated Kitwe United when they host Buildcon in an early kickoff at Nkoloma Stadium.
