President Hakainde Hichilema has assured the People of Northern Province that he is working round the clock to unite Zambia for development.
And Mr Hachilema has thanked the People of Northern Province for defying all odds and voting for change in the recently held elections.
He said this at Kasama Airport where he made a stopover on his way to Muchinga Province for a one day working visit.
“Northern Province is faced with numerous challenges ranging from roads, education, agriculture, jobs and business opportunities including quality health care services but we are determined to fix these problems,” he said.
He expressed gratitude toward the people of Northern Province for voting for UPND hence his job is uniting Zambia for development and deliver together with the people.
Meanwhile in Muchinga Province he thanked the people for their vote and promised development.
President Hichilema has bemoaned the lack of development in Muchinga Province.
He his in Muchinga Province to among others visit sites where freedom fighters, namely Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe are resting.
He will also interact with the locals and listen to their challenges.
