Police in Lusaka have arrested one suspect who has been on Police wanted list for allegedly been behind a spate of thefts of motor vehicles in some parts of Lusaka.
Police Assistant Deputy Spokesperson Godfrey Chilabi said Bernard Mupela 46, was picked on March 15, 2023 in Kamanga Township.
Mr Chilabi said that during the operation, Police also recovered a Motor Vehicle Toyota Corolla bearing registration number ACP 8515, property of Felix Mwanza of Obama Township which was earlier reported stolen.
He is said the suspect remains in custody and further investigations have been instituted.
