Choma Central Constituency Candidate Cornelius Mweetwa and Council Mayoral candidate Javen Simoloka says only voting on the UPND symbol will deliver meaningful national socio-economic development for the country.
Mr Mweetwa said the country has undergone too many economic and governance challenges that can only be addressed by the UPND government and its leadership.
Mr Mweetwa who is also UPND National Spokesperson said this year’s voting is not about the UPND but Zambians resolve to end their sufferings orchestrated by the PF and its leadership.
He advised party structures to identify people with challenges in identifying the UPND symbol and help them cast their votes in order to maximize on the number of votes cast and reduce on spoiled ballots as any such ballot affects the UPND aspirations to form government.
And Southern Province vice UPND Secretary Javen Simoloka said time has come for people to elect the full set of UPND leaders in order to witness real and sustainable development.
Mr Simoloka who is also Choma Mayoral candidate said the future of the country and its development agenda lies in the hands of the UPND and its stretched palm.
