Zanaco have edged Kafue Celtic 1-0 in the delayed FAZ Super Division match on Wednesday to move closer to the top four.
Captain Moses Phiri scored the goal that moved Zanaco four places up the table.
Phiri scored the goal in the 13th minute at Edwin Imboela Stadium in Lusaka.
Zanaco have moved from 10th to number six on 42 points after 29 matches played.
The Bankers, who have one game in hand against Buildcon, are three points away from 4th position currently occupied by Nkana.
Celtic remained stuck third from the bottom of the table on 29 points after playing 30 matches.
Celtic are four points away from the survival zone, with four matches remaining in the season.
