Vice President Inonge Wina has directed the Zambia Police service and the Immigration department to thoroughly investigate and find out the truth about the scandle involving a Russian business Executive that was allegedly Kidnapped at Kagem Mining area.
Speaking at Soundowns Airport in Kalulushi Ms Wina said that she will take advantage of the trip in Kitwe to engage security forces over the kidnapping incident that happened Kagem mining area.
She said government is not pleased with what happened at Kagem because the matter undermines the security of the nation.
“Government is hopeful that the truth will come out after the thorough investigations by the security forces.
“While am here I will engage security forces iver the incident that took place in the Kagem mining area that of a kidnapping of a Mining executive of Russian origin. The incident is not pleasing to government because the whole matter undermines the security of our country,” she said
And speaking during a send off church service for the late Judith Kainga the wife to PF former Provincial chairperson Stephen Kainga, Ms Wina urged women to stand by each other in bad and good times if they are to achieve more in life as unity is the key strength.
Ms Wina said Ms Kainga was a gallant woman who championed for the growth of the youth especially in the education sector where until her demise she was serving as a head teacher at Ndeke Secondary school.
She said death of Ms Kainga had come at a time that the country is yeaning for Professional human resource that will spur development of the country.
Meanwhile PF Secretary General Davies Mwila said the death of Ms Kainga ahs left the party inshock as played in huge role in the success of the the husband’s political career.
Mr Mwila said Ms Kainga greatly contributed to the education sector hence her death will leave a big gap especially to those she taught like himself.
