Mulonga Water Supply and Sanitation Company Limited informs its customers in Chingola that detection of slope instability at Konkola Copper Mines Nchanga Open Pit (Cut 2) mining area has led to the subsequent rerouting of Water, Power and Sanitation infrastructure to prevent disruption by abrupt failure during the cave-in of the ground.
These works are having an effect on the delivery of services.
Customers will be updated of any eventualities that may arise.
Affected areas are Nchanga North, South, Chiwempala, Chikola Mushishima and industrial area.
These areas will experience intermittent water supply.
