The United Party for National Development (UPND) in North Western province has endorsed Hakahinde Hichilema as its sole candidate for 2021 general election.Speaking during the just ended provincial mobilisation tour, UPND Provincial Chairperson Colonel Glandons Katambi said the party in the province will rally behind HH.
He was telling UPND Secretary General Steven Katuka that the party in the province was still intact and has one candidate to campaign for, who is HH.
Mr Katambi assured Hakahinde Hichilema through Mr Katuka that North Western province is still behind him and he was confident that in 2021 UPND will form government.
“It’s only those blind few councillors and people who cannot see the poverty caused by the Patriotic Front in the country are the ones defecting to join PF,” he said.
And Mr Katuka said his Party will form government because the party has done everything to take Hakahinde in State House.
He claimed that the PF is buying their members and councillors in all the bye-elections created.
“PF government is the most corrupt government Zambia has ever had in the history of the country,” he said.
He was speaking during the meeting with party members in Solwezi district after going round in all the districts.
