Kalulushi Mayoral aspiring candidate Paul Chivunda welcomes the call for unity of purpose by the Copperbelt Provincial Mobilization Coordinator Bowman Lusambo.
Mr Chivunda said that there is need for unity of purpose for Copperbelt to deliver victory for the Patriotic Front in the upcoming general elections.
Speaking at a meeting held at Kalulushi secondary School in Kalulushi, Mr Lusambo who is also Ndola’s Kabushi Constituency MP, advised the PF party structures and the mobilization team to work together in mobilizing the party.
“The PF is bigger than any individual, therefore, everyone must concentrate on uniting the party instead of creating divisions,” he said.
And Mr Chivunda has echoed on Mr Lusambo’s calls by adding that in house wrangles could weaken the party and cost it in the coming elections.
He said Mr Lusambo’s caution has come at the right time as this is a period to be united and not divided because politics is about numbers and we can’t afford to be disjointed as a party.
