Police in Nakonde have intercepted a Scania Truck and Trailer loaded with Mukula logs.
Deputy Police Spokesperson Danny Mwale said the Truck bearing registration number T317 CAP and T686 CAH was intercepted at GMC parking area in ILendela village.
Mr Mwale said thehe Truck has been impounded and the driver identified as Micheal Musa 32, a Tanzanian, has been detained in police custody to assist with investigations.
He said the incident occurred on January 30, 2021 around 22 hours in ILendela village of Nakonde district.
