TopStar has partnered with Kazadi Film to launch a game show, Bankers & Robbers. The show premieres Thursday. May 12th from 8 pm on the Star Times On APP and Facebook page.
Speaking during the launch at Corner Cafe, TopStar Chief Executive Officer, John Zhuang, in a speech read on his behalf by Public Relations Manager Joy Chula, said TopStar Communications Company Limited is excited to be associated with the latest show which happens to be a first of its kind game show in Zambia. Bankers & Robbers a reality TV game show where six participants are competing against each other for a chance to win Thousands of kwacha by lying their way through.
Bankers & Robbers is a 13-episode Game Show that will be airing on TopStar every Thursday evening starting from the 19th of May 2022 with repeats on Fridays and Mondays.
Speaking at the lunch Kazadi Films Chief Executive Officer David Kazadi said the show is inspired by the desire to give the local market content that is both unique and fun whilst filling the gap in reality shows, specifically game shows, which Zambia has been starved of.
“Last year, we committed to developing an industry pace-setting relationship with Topstar. What seemed too big a dream to others became a reality to us. A dream to develop the local film industry through production and distribution of content made locally but with an international audience in mind. The first step to this dream being turned into reality was the signing of our first partnership agreement on The Divorce Club and later on The Divorce Club Reunion. The reality hit sensation took the local airwaves by storm thereby paving way for great productions. And I think with the success of The Divorce Club it goes without saying that another partnership with TopStar was inevitabl” David Kazadi said.
