TopStar had partnered with Kazafdi Films Limited and Crown Television to televise Zambia’s hit reality drama series, “The Divorce Club”.
The partnership will see the broadcast of the reality drama series air 16 episodes on Crown TV channel 89 on Topstar. This is aimed at promoting quality premium local content of international standard which shall be accessible to more than 750,000 subscribers countrywide at an affordable fee.
TopStar Chief Executive Officer John Zhuang said the company’s goal is to be a media of national influence by supporting local television stations that strive to provide local quality content that will not only entertain but also inform and educate its viewers.
“The broadcast industry in Zambia is still growing and partnerships such as these are vital for the expansion of a particular audience to appreciate content that can compete on the international market” he said.
Kazadi Films CEO David Kazadi said TopStar was a local platform that will drive local content for the local market and will be easy to access not only for film lovers but for production houses too.
