Education Minister Douglas Syakalima says the list of successful candidates in the teacher recruitment process will be published in print and electronic media as soon as the validation process is complete.
Speaking in a ministerial statement on the update of the 2022 teacher recruitment process, Mr Syakalima said the process has delayed because at the point the advertisement was placed, the public requested for more time to send in applications.
He said the extensions that were given have affected the initial date on which the names of selected candidates would have been published.
Mr Syakalima also said the Teaching Service Commission Technical Committee is currently doing quality assurance and national consolidation of the selected 30 thousand teachers.
He said one hundred thousand 877 teachers applied country wide.
