Talks on KCM, Mopani to be concluded soon-HH

President Hakainde Hichilema says Government will soon conclude talks on KCM and Mopani Copper mine as the country’s economy is primarily reliant on copper.

Mr Hichilema said the discussions with the two mining companies will come to an end and the people will get employment.

He said the meetings are underway and talks will soon be done so that people can have contracts and jobs.

Speaking in Chililabombwe yesterday Mr Hichilema who also visited the unfinished hospital said that government want to build a modern hospital for the people in the district.

And When he visited Chitimukulu ward, Mr Hichilema called on the people of Chitimukulu to vote for Solomon Banda under UPND for this coming by- election.

The head of state says Government is focused on employing more youths this year by recruiting the defense forces and more teachers and health workers.

Meanwhile, Mr Hichilema said the construction of roads has begun in Chingola and Chililabombwe and other roads will be worked on and contracts will be given to the local people.

And Speaking earlier Chililabombwe Member of Parliament Paul Kasuswe said Chililabobwe has no general hospital and roads are also in terrible state.
