Police in Kaoma of Western Province are investigating reports of Malicious Damage to Property and Assault allegedly to have occurred at PF Kaoma office by suspected UPND cadres
Police Spokesperson Esther Katongo said that PF Kaoma District Vice Chairperson Mbangweta Liyoko 37 reported that suspected UPND party cadres attacked them from their office where they were sleeping.
Ms Katongo said in the process caused damage to a PF office by Breaking 13 window panes, and burnt 15 wooden chairs, six wooden Benches and one wooden Table leaving three occupants Doctor Mundred, Mambo Emmanuel and Newton Likando with injuries.
She said machetes and stones are alleged to have been used in the act.
Ms Katongo said no arrests have been made yet, investigations have been launched.
This occurred in the early hours of 23rd June, 2021 at about 02 20 hours.
