Still committed to Kalulushi people-Paul Chivunda

Independent Mayoral candidate for Kalulushi Paul Chivunda says that he remains committed to the development of the district given the mandate.

Mr Chivunda said that he has worked in the council and delivered so he wants to continue with brining meaningful development to the people of Kalulushi.

He said that what the person of Kalulushi needs is someone who understands and appreciate their challenges and needs.

Mr Chivunda said he has been with the people and interacted with them one on one and lived among them.
He said that he will ensure that youths and women are not left out with empowerment through various programs.

Mr Chivunda said that he will ensure that Kalulushi is industrialized to create more jobs for the people.

He said that agriculture sector should also be strengthened and wants to encourage more youths to participate into farming as a way of making income adding that long are the days where farming was done by elderly people alone.

“That why we want to lobby and increase beneficiaries of FISP for more people to remover poverty in the community,” he said.

Mr Chivunda said that the roads are bad and intends to work on them as the council had already procured some machines that will help in some road works.

Mr Chivunda said that he is cable of delivering for the people of Kalulushi because some of the works that he has done as a councillor and deputy mayor speaks for itself.

“I want to do what is best for my people I have worked well with them and I have a good plan for development of my people and they will never regret voting me into power,” he said.
