The Catholic Diocese of Solwezi joined the rest of the world in cerebrating triumphantly entry of Jesus Christ in Jerusalem on Palm Sunday with a call to serve humanity.
Solwezi Diocese Bishop Charles Kasonde says Christian’s should have the heart to serve and not to betray and destroy human beings.
His Lordship Bishop Kasonde said Christian’s should be ready to stand and protect their people just as Jesus offered himself to die for many to be saved.
Speaking during the cerebration of Palm Sunday Mass in his homely Bishop Kasonde said that Jesus suffered for the World to enable the world have peace.
His lordship has however called the church to pray for peace in Ukraine and Russia so that lives are saved.
“We cannot continue to see people dying in Ukraine because of one selfish leader who want to be a champion of everything. I want to urge all world leaders to serve their people,” he said
He praised for the leadership in Zambia and world over.
