Solwezi Municipal Council Management and staff wishes to extend deepest condolences to the family of the first Republican President Dr. David Kenneth Kaunda and all the people in Zambia on his passing.
We celebrate the late Dr Kaunda’s life as a freedom fighter, African icon and statesman who played a significant role in the liberation of the African States.
His contribution towards the struggle for Independence and his relentless teaching on love, unity in diversity of cultures will forever be remembered.
Dr Kaunda was a mentor and through him many leaders have been raised enabling Zambia to rise like an Eagle in the skies.
He shall dearly be missed. May His Soul Rest in Peace
