Solwezi Council hands over 2 CDF projects

Solwezi Central Member of Parliament Stafford Mulusa has handed over a 1×2 Classroom Block at Kyantobo Primary School valued at K317, 039.00 and Kimale Secondary School valued at K348, 663.46.
Both projects where built using the 2020 Constituency Development Fund (CDF).
Speaking during the handover ceremony at Kyantobo Primary School, Mr Mulusa said that education is one of the most powerful vehicles for propelling sustainable development in a Country hence the need to attain equal access to education by all regardless of the area of residence.
Mr Mulusa said that learning should be in a conducive environment; thus his optimism that the newly constructed facilities will help in accommodating new pupils as well as decongest other classes.
He said that it is his desire to see all girls and boys in Solwezi complete Primary and Tertiary education because their contributions are vital to the development of the district and the nation at large.
Mr Mulusa also thanked Solwezi Municipal Council for implementing such projects which will change many lives in both communities.
And  Solwezi Mayor Remmy Kalepa who was also in attendance at the handover ceremony urged members of the community to jealously guard the new classroom block as it is their asset.
