Small coffin dumped at someone’s farm in Chingola

A-50-year-old man in Mutimpa farming area of Chingola woke up to a rude shock yesterday when he found that unknown people had dumped a small coffin covered with a white material at his farm.

Misheck Kabwe woke up in the early morning of February 10, 2023 around 05:00hours with the view of going to his charcoal burning activity.

Mr Kabwe said when he went outside the house he found a coffin wrapped in a white cloth dumped at his door.

Copperbelt Police Commanding officer Peacewell Mweemba who confirmed the development said Mr Kabwe reported the matter at Kasompe police post and Police officers were dispatched to the scene.

Mr Mweemba said upon arrival, the officers found the coffin and when it was opened, one white egg and one breakable plate.

“The reporter has no idea of the person who could have dumped the said coffin and motive behind the same. The coffin is being kept at the police station,” he said.
