A-15- year old girl has died at a named Church in Solwezi where she was rushed for prayers after an illness.
North Western Police Deputy Commissioner Fred Mulenga confirmed the matter in a statement.
Dr Mulenga said that Getrude Shemena died at a named Church where she was rushed for prayers after an illness.
He said the same girl was said to have been sick for three days.
Dr Mulenga said the incident occurred on January 29, 2022 at around 12:40 hours in Kimasala area in Solwezi.
He said the Police visited the scene and found the victim laying in the said church with a lot of congregants.
Dr Mulenga said that inspections were conducted and no physical injuries observed on the body and the body was taken to Solwezi General Hospital Mortuary awaiting for Post Mortem and burial.
