By Ireen Mulenga
PF Buntungwa Ward aspiring candidate Rennox Musonda has urged Zambians not be used as tools of violence.

Speaking with The Independent Observer in an interview, Mr Musonda said Zambians should not indulge themselves in political violence despite being in different political parties.

“As the country heads towards the polls, I would like to urge all Zambians not to engage themselves in political violence regardless of their political affiliation, “he said.

Mr Musonda said Zambia is a Christian nation and people should preach peace and unity during this year’s campaigns.

He said there is need to uphold Christian values which include peace and unity in the country as the late president Fredrick Chiluba declared the country.

Mr Musonda said violence does not solve problems instead it brings the country’s economy down.

He said that Zambians should not be used by politicians to cause violence instead they should be party and parcel of the governance.

Mr Musonda further encouraged Zambians to adhere to Covid- 19 guidelines that have been put in place by the health authority.
