The water utilities say the safest drinking water is the one which is treated at home either by adding chlorine or boiling.
This was after a picture was posted in WASH (Water And Sanitation and Health) WhatsApp group which draw membership from all water utility firms of Zambia.
The picture was showing a man packaging 20 litres bottled water containers with tap water deceiving consumers into thinking that the commodity is treated and pure.
The other complaint which was prominent was that once culprits are caught supplying fake bottled water, they go Scot-free.
