Green Eagles Football Club has appointed Rotson Kilambe as second Assistant Coach to Aggrey Chiyangi.

Kilambe has coached Lumwana Radiants, Mining Rangers, Konkola Mine Police and Indeni Football Clubs respectively.

Kilambe is also remembered for having scored the lone goal when Zambia defeated Zimbabwe in the 1998 COSAFA Cup Final helping the Chipolopolo lift the cup for a second time in a row.

During his playing days, Kilambe also featured for Kaizer Chiefs, Mamelodi Sundowns, Zanaco FC, Power Dynamos and Green Buffaloes FC among others.

He has expressed joy over joining Green Eagles FC and that he is looking forward to working with the team.

As a club we welcome the new Coach and wish him the very best.

Meanwhile, Alex Namazaba has been elevated from Second Assistant to first Assistant Coach following the departure of George Chilufya who left Green Eagles FC for Power Dynamos Football Club in January.

This is according to a media statement made available by Green Eagles Football Club Media and Communications Officer Faith Kaira.
