Rotary club District Governor for Malawi, Zambia and Northern Mozambique has pledged to continue working with the district to help address some challenges faced.
Speaking when she paid a courtesy call on Chingola DC this morning Mrs Nela Bettencourt said that the DC can use the Chingola club to help address water and sanitation challenges.
She said that government should help in identifying challenges that affect residents, in working with government the Rotary club is on board to help.
“Am glad that Chingola Rotary club is working with government, Rotarians in Zambia are welcome as compared to other countries,” she said.
She also said that health wise the Rotary club is willing to work with government to improve the condition service delivery at health institutions.
And Chingola District Commissioner Raphael Chimupi says the Rotary club has always been supportive in the district and help lessen the disasters and challenges the district faces.
Mr Chimupi urged the Rotary club to continue with the good works.
He said government is grateful that the Rotarians have continued to render help when needed even in difficult situations.
