Rose Nkhuwa, the wife to Chingola Member of Parliament Matthew Nkhuwa, could not resist the euphoria of Christmas spirit.
And her choice was newly born babies where she even named one of the Christmas babies after her husband.
In Zambian tradition naming a child who is not yours is a privilege which is given mostly to those with either good name or those who have a hand of giving.
And Ms Nkhuwa said her husband does not fail in either areas, saying naming the child after her husband shows how she prides in him.
Her bounty hand then showered hampers and gifts on new Mathew.
Matthew was not the only Christmas baby that received hampers, Ms Nkhuwa extended her giving hand to other babies.
Matthew was born at Kasompe Clinic, while another baby boy was born at Lulamba clinic and a girl at Chawama Clinic.
Ms Nkhuwa has annually been giving hampers to Christmas babies in Chingola Constituency for three years now but this was the first time she named one after her husband.
The move is aimed at supplementing her husband in improving the lives of people Constituency here her husband is MP.
She advised the mothers to the newly born babies to take care of their babies and raise them in a proper manner by training them in godly way.
She also urged women to always give birth at the clinic in order for them to deliver safely.
The mothers of the three Christmas babies expressed gratitude toward Ms Nkhuwa.
