Retired teachers should be part of developmental agenda-Chililabombwe DC

By ALICE NACHILEMBE
Chililabombwe District Commissioner Roy Ngosa has told former teachers to be part of developmental agenda after retirement.

Mr Ngosa said that the end of their work is not the end of innovative ideas in their communities.

He said this when he met with former teachers to discuss how their services can be of help in the district.

The DC said that they can be used in various programmes at district levels especially in disseminating information into communities.

“Like now with the issues of corona virus we can use you in sensitizing people in the community to make them aware of the dangers of not adhering to the measure as there are consequences and many other works in the district that may require your skills,” he said.

Mr Ngosa said that this will also be helping them in one way or the other.

He also advised them to take advantage of the border and engage in business.
