The 51 year old former junior international defender played for Nkana, Power Dynamos and Nchanga Ranger in his peak days.
Nkhoma is now seeking money for specialist treatment.
“Life has become tougher because I am unable to see. I also miss watching football matches,” he told the Radio Icengelo News crew that visited him in Chamboli, Kitwe.
He lost sight last year in September.
“I have been using a stick when walking. It is not easy to lose sight but I just put everything in God’s hands. Life has become tougher,” Nkhoma said.
Nkhoma added:”Right now I am just hoping that those white doctors who come from outside Zambia can come and help to start seeing again.”
