Radio remains an iconic tool for communication

Kibanza ward councillor in Kalumbila Moses Kokela District says Radio remains an iconic tool for effective communication to the society.

Moses Kokela said Radio plays a pivotal role in informing and educating the public various matters of social economic development.

Mr Kokela a Councilor said radio links the communities and government.

He also said that an informed community receives attention from the authorities.

“My appeal to radio stations in North Western is that extend the coverage to all communities and feed them with relevant information to enable them stay informed,” he said.

And UPND North Western Province Vice Information and Publicity Secretary, Ezira Shapi said the UPND Government has paid attention to the media because of it played a role in the assertion to power.

“We shall ensure radio stations receive support and will not allow anyone to victimize any radio, Government will ensure that all government policies are explained to the people and make them informed,” he said.
