A- Grade-11- pupil at Lufwanyama Boarding School has stabled two grade 12 pupils from the same school using a shape instrument.
The victims both 17 years, sustained stabled wounds on the left part of the chest, and a deep stab wound on the left palm respectively.
Copperbelt Commanding Officer Peace well Mweemba said brief facts are that the suspect who is a grade 11 pupil had a difference with a school prefect who is in grade 12.
Mr Mweemba said the suspect did not comply and their differences continued until they reached the dormitories.
He said the suspect became unruly and when other grade 12 pupils who were also in the dormitory tried to advise him, he produced a hard laundry hang wire which he had sharpened and made into some form of a screw driver from his pocket.
“When the pupils saw the weapon they all scampered out of the dorm but the suspect managed to stab the victim twice on the left side of the chest causing him to sustain two deep stab wounds,” he said.
The suspect also stabbed another pupil within the same dormitory who failed to run.
Mr Mweemba said school authorities managed to apprehend the suspect and handed him over to Lufwanyama Police Station where they reported the matter.
He said the two victims were rushed to the hospital where they were attended to and later discharged.
The School management has informed all parents of the pupils involved as they are all boarders.
