Governance and Development Advocates Zambia is delighted to note that Government through the Ministry of Health has adequately supplied 85 percent of medicines, and medical supplies kits countrywide.
Executive Director Elias Mulenga said this after a tour of medical facilities countrywide which revealed that most Districts have received the health care kits for health centers in the country.
Mr Mulenga said over 7000 kits are in the country which is part of the 42,000 procured by Hon Sylvia Masebo fulfilling the President’s commitment to providing quality health care services to Zambians.
Mulenga has noted that Government is determined to make a positive impact on the live of the people through access to quality health care which is a fundamental right for the Citizenry.
Mr Mulenga has since called on all the District health personnel to coordinate in a collaborative approach to ensure that quality delivery of health care services is a continuous process and that the Minister of health should be supported by all the stakeholders in the health sector.
