Power Dynamos FC has embarked on a rigorous objective to assemble a formidable squad to match the competition that lies ahead in the 2019 soccer season and beyond.

The objective exceeds the desire to just participate in the league but win accolades which have eluded the club in the recent past and which our esteemed fans desire.

In this regard, the club is re-organising the structure of the team through a strict process of performance review to ensure Power Dynamos FC impacts positively on the league to the expectations of all Stakeholders; Sponsors, Players and Fans.

Players whose Contracts are expiring at the end of the current year were assessed by the Technical Committee for renewal and separation.

Assessment was based purely on performance and was devoid of any sentimental attachments.

“The club therefore would like to confirm that the following players’ contracts will not be renewed; Peter Njovu, Govenda Simwala, Victor Kashitu.  The assessment process is on-going and names of other affected players will be released in due course.

Power Dynamos FC has adopted a human resource development philosophy where players who have performed diligently with loyalty and dedication and possess the desired human capital attributes can be developed for future assignments. The statement read.

“The Club would like to further take this opportunity to inform its esteemed fans and football followers that following interests expressed by some former players, who include Fwayo Tembo to re-join Power Dynamos, the club was willing invite the players for assessment.

“However the Club has abandoned its intentions due to circumstances based on unattainable factors and circumstances so that it does not lose its focus. The Club is working to re-kindle the Power Dynamos success story and appeals to its esteemed supporters to support its actions some of which may appear painful but intended to realize,” read the statement in full.
