Social Activist and political Analyst Joseck Kunda say that expectations in this year’s general election are high among political contenders.
Mr Kunda has urged all the presidential candidates not to take this peaceful country for granted to satisfy their ambitions.
He has challenged all the 16 candidates to sober down and become real and liberal
Mr Kunda said it high time politicians started to prepare the minds of their spectators and overzealous cadres and tame them.
He said that to some these elections are a matter of life and death while others it is a testing ground of their popularity and to some it a business venture meant to multiply the financial fortunes.
Mr Kunda said that Zambia is not for sale to the highest bidder and the citizens should not be auctioned to the highest bidder.
‘Lives of Zambians should be valued and not be a sacrificial lamb. They can only be one winner in the elections so it is important to start preparing for the out come of this years election everyone must be ready to accept the out come of this election,” he said.
He said that it is the responsibility of everyone in contributing to the peaceful transition of leadership by accepting the will of the majority people.
Mr Kunda said candidates should avoid been overzealous and over confidence and be humble.
