World Youth and Leadership Foundation has advised all political leaders not to tolerate youths causing violence in the name of defending political party.
The foundation Director General Nalishebo Nyambe said political Leaders will be accused of using the youths as tools of violence if the are not tamed.
Mr Nyambe has appealed to all political Leaders to mentor their youth followers in such a way which will help them to demonstrate love to every one.
He said as a Christian nation it is imperative for everyone to apply love in every action taking in our day to day campaigning.
Mr Nyambe said it is disheartening to learn that in the last few weeks since campaigns started Zambia has recorded a number of violence incidents.
He has urged political leaders to quickly act and condemn any act of violence’s and guide all their followers to support love and peace and not to return evil actions with evil but let love lead us to a peaceful free and fair election.
” As a youth organisation we also appeal to every youth to campaign understanding that Zambia is a Christian Nation hence the need to abide by the values and principals of Christianity,” he said.
