Police in Chingola are investigating a case of suspected Murder in which an unidentified Male dead body was found at Hellen Dump site, off Chililabombwe-Chingola Road.
Copperbelt Police commissioner Elias Chushi said that brief facts state that, on August, 25, 2021 around 09:00 hours, Gift Mwanza a male aged 40, a CCPU Member of Hellen Compound found a dead body of unknown Male person at Hellen Dumping Site and quickly alerted the Police.
“The Police Scenes of Crime Officers visited the scene and confirmed the incident. The body was found lying facing upwards with a deep cut on the lower lip, swollen face and bleeding from the nose, additionally the deceased was clad in a UPND T- Shirt,” he said.
Mr Chushi said that the body is now laying in the Nchanga North General Hospital Mortuary, awaiting identification and postmortem
